This month’s Shelf Respect Book Club Meeting, to be held a week later than usual on Wednesday September 18th, will be simple: read any book you’ve been meaning to read (you know the one, the one that’s been sitting in your to-read pile or on your request list, looking forlorn for the lack of attention) and come prepared to make a recommendation to (or warn away) your fellow book club members!
On top of that, this meeting will be everyone’s chance to vote in person for the next year’s books. All members may also vote online before the meeting here. Vote for up to THREE TITLES from each category!
Once we’ve tallied all of the votes, we’ll announce the next year’s reading! Thanks to everyone who sent in suggestions, and let us know if you have any questions about our voting or the titles in the running.
On a side note — sadly I (Robin) will not be here for this meeting as I am on vacation, but never fear, my indefatigable co-leader Steph will be here to lead the discussion and collect votes. I’m sad to miss it — but will be happy to see you all again in October.
